A Request From The Author

I don’t normally solicit for ideas etc. but I wanted to post a little request to my wonderful and generous readers.
Have you even considered collaborating with someone on a poem?
Maybe you’ve not ever though about it. Maybe you’re not sure how to do it, or if you’d enjoy it. Maybe you think that (heaven forfend) you wouldn’t have the ability. Well I’d like to ask that, if you do want to try it, then maybe you’d consider working with me.

I’ve had some successful collaborations so far, and what I’ve enjoyed is matching my verse and structure to that of the person who writes the first verse. If you’ve never tried it before, you’ll find it opens up a whole new dimension to your imagination. Well, that’s been the case when I’ve done it.

So have a think about it. Maybe read some of the collaborations I’ve written (you can use the tag ‘Collaboration’ at the top of the site) and see what you think. If you decide that it’s something you’d like to try, drop me an email (using the link on the right, ‘Something To Say’) and we’ll talk about what we could do.

This is a slightly selfish request as I do really enjoy pushing myself with regards to my writing and this is one way I’ve found that tests me. I also enjoy it immensely.
