Come Walk With Me

Come walk with me
in Paris in the rain;
we’ll watch lovers sharing
fatal kisses,
putting hearts to shame.

Come walk with me
in London in the spring;
we’ll see art amongst the
urban sprawl,
and watch decay begin.

Come walk with me
in Rome among the Gods;
we’ll see the ruined
pantheon,
with beauty not at odds.

Come walk with me
and take me where you may;
for every sight consumed
with you,
would make my brightening day.
